It's weird in that somalis have lived closely with xabashis for centuries and yet we rarely marry each other, there are even more cases of somalis marrying kikuyu than xabashis.

There are many marriages in Ethiopia between Somalis and Habesha but the thing is most Habeshas are Christians so people prefer Muslim Ethiopians so thats why you wont see marriages between Somalis and and Habeshas.
