My observations of S-net from over the years

Postby herndonhomer » Mon Jan 07, 2013 9:54 am

1. Somalinet is very cliquish
2. Mods have too much power and abuse them
3. Members who have been on the site for 5-6+ years get the most respect (fair enough because you lot made this website cool)
4. General section can be VERY VERY VERY dry at times
5. As compared to now from the past, people are less likely to put up with trolls and trollish topics (good thing)
6. Too many people have multiple nicks. If this problem isn't addressed this site will get more and more shitty over time.
7. The forums are not friendly to new users while in the past they were.

If there is a new user he or she is automatically believed to be a "multinicker"

1. Somalinet is very cliquish so is every other social network site/forum
2. Mods have too much power and abuse them true sometimes but they do a decent job
3. Members who have been on the site for 5-6+ years get the most respect (fair enough because you lot made this website cool) I haven't noticed that
4. General section can be VERY VERY VERY dry at times probably more recently
5. As compared to now from the past, people are less likely to put up with trolls and trollish topics (good thing) I hate trolls too
6. Too many people have multiple nicks. If this problem isn't addressed this site will get more and more shitty over time. people have always mult-nicked
7. The forums are not friendly to new users while in the past they were. considering these new users are multinickers 99% of the time, I'm not suprised

I'm convinced that most of these multi-nickers have multiple personality disorder or are really some shady people. Why would an already anonymous character on cyberworld create another fake anonymous character? Some of them can easily be spotted. But as they say, "As long as you know, that's all that matters". :stylin:
