The somalis captured one cuban soldier,this cuban soldier was in Somalia until 1988.He returned to Cuba in 1988,he is still alive.

The name of the cuban soldier is Orlando Cardoso Villavicencio

The agency said that Orlando Cardoso Villavicencio, 31, captured during the war between Somalia and Ethiopia in 1977-78, arrived on a plane full of Ethiopians. The men were the first of more than 3,000 Ethiopian war prisoners to be released over the next 20 days as part of a prisoner exchange arranged by the International Red Cross. Prensa Latina said Cardoso is the only Cuban among them. The chartered plane carried 111 Somalis on its return flight to Mogadishu
