if the people of hargeysa and burco were supporting SNM why did they not rebel and let SNM take the cities in 1981?
there is something called gradual process my dear sister you dont expect a rebel force to reach its aim with in the same year it established

Siyad Barre AUN saved Somalia and 140000 somalis from drought in 1974 even the UN admits it
To increase production , the government resettled 140,000 nomadic pastoralists in farming communities and in coastal towns, where the erstwhile herders were encouraged to engage in agriculture and fishing.

Ok, so Radio Halgan was created by SSDF but they shared it with SNM until the Ethiopian derg regime shut it down after agreement with Maxamed Siyaad. In late 1988, early 1989 a new radio station was created and it was called Radio SNM. Tell me, how does this prove your case?
