Folkz of all tribes

Postby abdisamad3 » Fri Feb 08, 2013 3:12 pm

I have this to ask my fellow brothers and sisters of the somali nation...
Why do we hate each other?
why can't we trust each other?
we have a beautyful country, great diin (islam) one language, one people..
How come we can't agree on anything? why are we always so hell bent on dividing us?
I understand the civil war was ugly and many of us lost family members and friends that were dear to us..
But that's the past and we can never move on if we dwell on the past right?....
Now why should the tribe of the president matter as long as he rules the country with justice?
we all wanna live the good life and mind our bussiness right, what will individuals like us gain from if the top goverment position is in the hands of a man from our tribe?
I believe we can have one Somalia under one goverment with one army one people united under Allahs protection and blessing..
I don't believe in all these new lands like Sland Jland Pland or what ever the fuck new lands there are about to be formed.. I think many of us are forced to support these tribal dusty ass states because there is no leader uniting us.. That's stretching his hand to us and saying come my people I will lead you to glory and restore your nation and secure your future..
I notice everytime theres a new goverment formed in Somalia we have this new group of people, who are against it... Even before the goverment does anything good or bad we already have people being against it..And we have some who are in support of it.. Both accusing each other of being qabiliste anti nationalist.. It's a never ending cycle and the number one reason that has been keeping the Somali nation behind the rest of the world for the past 20+ years...
Now how can we end this vicious cycle we the new somali generation? are we ready to end the tribal division between or will we forever continue in the foot steps of our fathers without learning from their mistake?
Allahay kuligeen somaali oo dhan hana soo hanuniyo oo niyadeena waxi xun oo ku jira wax fiican hanoogu badalo (amiin)

Aamiin bro. Never give that spirit up! Sometimes it feels like a hopeless battle against millions of jaahils but in the end, if we want to change our people we ought to start with ourselves.

I guess its pride, too much pride in one's clan. But the way I see it if I deem as a necessity to be proudful in someone I rather be it me and do what I see is right than being proudful in some dead grandpa of mine. My dead grandpa needs my dua and that I pray that Allah forgives his sins, only that.

Navy the fake pride and feeling of superior to one another is a curse onto the us..
This is why we are so easily manipulated by those who use tribal division to achieve their goals...
my wish is to see a peaceful somalia where qabiil is not important. :blessed:

It is not Wallahi, otherwise we'd be enslaved like the African Americans but our noble ancestors made sure that didn't happen.

But that was the past and we need to remember ones lineage (NOT CLAN) e.g Hawiye lineage, Darod lineage otherwise we'll have no history and it would be rude to forget 1,500 years of ancestry.

I completely agree with your post otherwise :som: :som:

Hydro our ancestors did well but our people failed when they let qabiil divide them and destroy the nation.... even to this day we have people comparing dusty un-developet tuulooyin and bragging about their qabiil doing big..Anyway it's good to know you agree with me. :D

 The whole world has moved on and somalis are talking about tribes. Look at aidsthopia, 70+ ethnic groups but still get along. Anaga, on the other hand, a handful of tribes at each others necks. :mindblown: You got one clan claiming a whole portion of lower somalia, another clan saying "Xamar unuka leh," another clan saying all the alleged oil in puntland anagaa is kalee, and finally my isaaq brothers trying to break away out of spite. These things irk me everyday. Why can't we just reason and reconcile our differences man. Enough of this trivial bullshit wallahi.
