Small Business Owners

Postby AbdiWahab252 » Sun Feb 17, 2013 11:40 am

So folks, would you be opposed to receiving grants and low interest loans to set up a small business in economically depressed areas of your city ? I am still trying to convince my former sister in law to accept very low interest loans from a small business program. She is resisting and I wonder how she will be able to cover her operating costs for the next 2 years if she doesn't take the loans. I am surprised by her sudden resistance.

What can I do to convince her otherwise ? Would you accept taking loans that charge very low interest rates ? If she refuses these loans, her business will not be viable.

Is she against the loan because of the interest?

there is no khair if you start with interest, rather save up and do it halaal way.

if you start your business with interest the whole thing will become xaram and in the end, when you die you can't buy a kafan with your haram money.

$100,000 @ less than 4%. Family and money don't mix. When they do it ends up badly.

Zulaika,

Confessions of A Concerned Former Brother In Law is more like it.
