For those of you who pay attention I would say almost all the Somali music coming out in the past decade were monopolozed on the music production part by the Karamo brothers, Mustafa or Mohamed Karama. Their beats are wack and they made Somali music regurgitated carbon copy of each other using cheap electric keyboard stuff. Some have fought back but through Western influence. For the first time a young group of peers from Hargeisa have burst out and brought some originality in the Somali-owned music narrative. Mursal Muuse and his Ha I raadsan is the most well known from them but here is Khadra Sinimo probably filmed in Djibouti I think.
I support anyone who resists and fights the Karamo brothers and their wack monopoly on Somali music production
