I wouldn't say I disagree with your 'mule' proverb. It is accurate. We need a good beating otherwise, we tend to see u as none sense. The very act of sex involves 'beating'. One has to be hard, and the other has to take the hard beating. it is natures laws and role play. Who are we to reject out nature.

Why do some women stay with these men who keep beating them day in and day out?
They never listen to their families or friends yet they never stop complaining.I've this distant relative of mine who is facing this problem right now. Just yesterday she called us..ninki ba i dilay kaaleya na dhexdhexaadeya...120 goor bu familiga dhan kula taliyey naa ninkan isaga tag, he will never change just kick him out and take care of ur kids.Nama maqlayso calaacalna dayn meyso, anagana madaxa ayey na xanuujisay..naag nin ku dhagsan oo rabta yaa ka furi kara.
I knew this somali lady who was married to a non somali. He used to beat her, and whn that happens she used to run to and stay with Somalis in the area for a few days. One day some Somalis tried to dissuade her from going back lakin one reer waqoyi accented guy said "Waar iska daaya (fill the blank) basbaas leh bay u baratay oo ma dayn kartee.. lol We used to call her heblayo basbaas.
