I have seen this video 2 years ago, the stupid Brit confused the name Somalis with Sudanes, There was never somali slaves , there were only somalis slave dealers , tow of those i remember Xaaji Cali Adan Meygaag Ilko-Dheere ( the grandson of Meygaag the wise , the advisor of Sultaan Diiriye Xasan of the Ciidagale) Xaaji Cali was a slave dealer in Tahran , later he became "sheekhal somal" in the 1950's, another well know slaver dealer was Xaaji Adan Afqalooc, he dealt them in Riyad "xay al cabiid".

I know all that because i use to listen to those generation talking about it in early 1980's , Navy Cilmi Dalamiye ( Muuse Care) is one , in 1954 when the poet Cabdi Gahayr died he told his British supervisor that all somalis need 3 days of , asked why he calimed " the somali president died" having got 3 days off for most Somalis one Sacad Muuse dude snitched on him and had him almost fired, when the lie was blown , he argued it was the Garxajis president and not the Habar Awal.
