The two are absolutely incomparable. In every aspect, Vikings outshines the shit that is Spartacus (and its multiple variants).

I know, too much man humping in Spartacus. Still a good show though. I prefer Vikings as well. I wasnt sure if it was a a show or a history documentry at first.

Spartacus is a good show but I don't like the excessive nudity and homosexual scenes.

I think Vikings is a better concept overrall because the good guy will eventually (hopefully) be victor, whereas with Spartacus you already know how the story ends...

Spartacus is a really good show but most people know everything that will happen. We all know historically that Spartacus ends up being defeated and in a way, that takes the fun out of watching it somewhat, especially now that its nearing its end. With Vikings though, I don't know whats gonna happen...hell I aint never even heard of Ragnar before so them bearded guys can continue entertaining us.

Vikings series lacks a good plot. I am having a hard time following it. Its a bunch of hilly billy white primitive vikes who are boring and down right animalistic. I don't particular like the scene where the wife and husband beat each other and then start having sex. Its borderline grotesque. :mindblown:

Are you kidding me?? There is lots of homosexuality, it was part of the Roman culture. In the last episode, Julius Focking Caesar out of all people gets raped...literally

The animalistic nature of the Vikings and how they kill and pillage is exactly what makes the show great.

I think u r mistaken.

Julius was not raped by anyone. He was severely beaten to death. I think, the only homosexual act I could recall in that Spartacus series was a feminine little boy being owned by a silly warrior/Spartacus. And even then, it was implied more than showing 'action'! I would have remembered if I had seen any homosexual act.

Game of thrones--has a deep homosexual action, no question there. :dj:

As to the Vikings---I still do not get it. I find it hard to follow it. Believe me, I went with an open mind, and I could not follow it. It was clumsy, plots not interwoven, at least I thought there would have been red blood hot blonde men with Nordic DNA but I see only a bunch of below average white tra.sh. None of the men in the show has sex appeal. The women are dull. Its borderline crap series.
