Did anyone hear about this? Apparently they poisoned her shaah to take her ayuuto and split her £20K ($35K) in half. Now they've both got 40 years in prison with no possibility of parole.

This is more common than some people think. There was a plan I was aware of (but thankfully thwarted) of Somali ladies doing the same thing as those ladies you said did. But in this case, the Somali lady found out their plan and cut those women off. She didn't bother trying to get the police involved. I hear the ladies are trying to say sorry to the woman but she isn't having it.

Why cant these women save the money for themselves, rather than give monthly sum to a third party in order to achieve the goal of a one time lonsum money for the agreed upon month in which one is to receive the total amount. If they can afford to pay every month, they can afford to save every month. This business of putting your trust on people to pay you in their monthly annuity is a bad business. They will either harm u --like these idiot women did or not pay at all. And as I know, malis DONT write down contract of "ayuuto" u cant really sue someone if they don't pay their due after consuming their own month big lonsum pay. This is all a bad accounting business.

I always have this image that in America (Minnesota) you Somalis are living the cliché lives. 'Refugees from war-torn Somalia finding new opportunities, mother works as a cleaner and father is a cab driver and both are saving up money for their children's university fees', lol.

ALL assumptions are accurate, but still--Minnesota Somalis are far better well advanced than the UK Somalis. There is a sense of plentiness here, as opposed to everything is measured and budgeted in UK. South hall is like Eastleigh in Kenya, dirty, muddy and filthy indian smell. The houses electricity sockets are fragile, and measured by a pound. The roads are narrow and scary. The twin tower buses scare the bagia out of me. The weather rainy and depressing, though a healthy night life with day time plentiful cultural adventure.
Hydrogen, London is NOT the city of the noble aristocratic anymore. It is contaminated by Malis, Indians and west Africans. (not to mention all eastern Europe pathetic refugees. The whole decrepitude is depressing)
