The only Sufi I've interacted with and I respect is Prof Steffen Stelzer, May Allah bless him tremendously.

There are many sects within sufisim. Some beg and talk to the dead. They say something like "yaa sheik abdulkadir (dead iraqi sheik) pls give u rain, etc." Again, I am not an expert but doesn't sound right. I know "shirk" means putting some1 or something in Allah's position.

I have no problem with Sufis.

those are degenerates, that went too far with preserving pre islamic traditions.
sufism is nearly extinct as it was practiced originally.

Suufis never said that. Its pure wahhaabi proboganda against the true islam ( suufism).

Didn't Sufis back in the day in Somalia use to practice this tradition of a Sheikh having sex with your new wife before you were able to have sex with her so that he could give his blessings?

ok then what is your tariqa, who is your murshid/imam what is your view on shareeca.

alghazali said tassawuf without shareeca is kufr, shareeca without tassawuf opens the door to corruption.

dtoore, when confronted, some say that man (sh. abd) was awliya and he has something called shafea which means he can grant you Janna among other things. Fyi, Some sufis praise sheik abdulqadir constantly and ask him to talk to God on their behalf. Ditore, the phrase "sehik abdulkhadirow (and request)" is very common among Somali sufis and I doubt u don't know this.

Just the other day a bus full of ppl lost control and one man kept saying sheik abdulkadiroo..... After the bus stopped and the dust settled a yng man said God saved us today and u were supposed to beg him instead of sh. abd. The man reacted by pulling a dagger - he was like how can u badmouth sheik abd.

The Wahaabi obsession with shirk is a disease , they use to teach us in schools the mere say " god and so" alone shirk , thge term "and " like the Arabic " wa" is shirk, you have to say "Allaha Wa-thuma" , thats how fucked up they are mere normal speech to them is intentional shirk.

Sufis do some prayer on their masters and saints shrines and even aske for their intercession , but not a direct one like bringing rain rather their intercession in recalling his name in certain desprate time ,. like the old somali suufi nomad women who lost a camel and called for Abdiqaadir Jaylaani and asked if she knew who he was and she said no she doesn't but if he brings her camel back she wouldn't mind his service.

That is shirk though. Why would this woman ask a shiek whose already been dead for hundreds of years help on anything?

Also, your support for Sufism is actually a sign of their misguided ways because we all know your a kafir so Why support them unless you wanted Muslims to go astray. This is what the enemies of Islam want, a moderate, watered down sect where people pray to the dead.
