Somaliland Will Attend the London Conference?

Postby Individual » Thu Apr 18, 2013 2:23 am

''It's a wrap..they definitely attending this meeting. This not only illustrate how the power of Britain has influence but also how ill informed this clueless foreign minister is..someone tell him people are not ******.History needs to document the death of Somalieland by our senile leader. The struggle to liberate Somaliland from Somalia politics has failed.Nothing can pursued me to believe from today that Somaliland is indepedant. This unilateral approach to the Somaliland foreign policy by silanyoo has failed it's people. It should be noted that the train is stopping next in Mogadishu. As far is known the train is not making anymore stops but going home.In short the foreign policy of Somaliland is one for the academic lecture halls dissection. Now let me hear the spinmasters tell us the weight of importance in attending a meeting chaired by Somali president....someone lend me a blue flag''

the whole point of the turkey meeting was to avoid london.
Siilanyo cannot attend the london conference.
only the granting of signifigant advantage will make him do it.

the UK does nto have much of a stick, what will they do?
cut off aid? we don care we don't receive much anyway.
aid cuttoff will actually benefit somaliland in the longrun
right the oligarchy are siphoning off a good percentage.

He is right ^^. What can anyone possibly do if by some miracle the Somaliland politicians bluntly refuse anything to do with Somalia? I predict that they will most likely be bribed and paid off under the table to make them reach an agreement but imagine if they refuse? The only option to bring them back into the fold would be to arm Sool rebels and maybe some Awdalites or a military option but that will never happen because even the most tribally unstable Somali would not want another war in Somalia. It really depends on Somalilands politicians and how loyal they are to their people.

That is not how simple it is. The British have a huge power over Somaliland. They can dismiss all the leaders of Somaliland as thugs and influence all the friendly nation to ban them from entering their country. They can revoke their British passports.

David cameron usually use these words on the human being they aid with money and many other things.

here is this.
You Somaliland we help you this and that. We never ask you anything back until now. When we ask you to participate this meeting, you give us finger. It is unfair for you and we the British can no longer continue relationship if our friends does not share meetings we request from them. You guys want independent. Fine. It is good place to ask independence on May 7,2013 because the whole world is listening you at that time.
That is how he talks.

Siilaanyo is a British citizen and entered the country using a British passport, he cannot refuse what his prime minister is telling him to do. It will take slowly to announce to isaq that there will be no more Somaliland I give it a year.

lol you seem unaware or lacking nationally experience.
the govt is dispassionate about khatumo and will not be used as a proxy.

i find it unfortunate that till now somalis havent a nationhood state so we can put the things in the way you suggested.

there is an opposing power and that why meetings like the one in turky would really piss some off

Can you blame the govt? Is not puntland and the rest of the opposing power are in the kismayo shir?

djboutian speaker has expressed his opinions againist kismayo shir yesterday and said he will send more army to somalia
The same way somaliland will be cooperating.

Now the uk doesnt know shyt about the internal ugly somali politics and that the govt is indifferent about the unity they only agreed on a southren-northen-power -sharing based-federalism so that why the govt and somaliland are meeting in other places.

i see the darood dogs are barking here again without any bite

the dooros on both sides of the colonial border should welcome somaliland's decision to be independent becasue if a union was to be reestablished than the big winners will be isaaq and hawiye and the dooros will be reduced into irrelevance because the union will be based on TWO states ONLY along the colonial boundries and the isaaq and hawiye will dominate the north and south respectively because both of them are the majority clan in their respective substate as well as dominating the govt institutions at the union level as well

so dooros, are u willing to sink into oblivion and obscurity just to protect the union? either way u will lose out loooooooool
