It is a place you will find 30 year old Somalis born in the U.S.

I wonder if, in terms of mindset, such Somalis see themselves as Somali or American.

Mostly American I have family in the DMV area and even our aunt who is in her 40s doesn't cover her self up and wears pants she's a paralegal

We have the most middle class Somalis in America. It's actually pretty nice Alhamdulillah we don't have to deal with fobs.

Ina adeer, I met this Somali guy who was here during Woodstock. He pretends he doesn't speak Somali but overall is a cool guy. I know plenty of 50+ women who don't cover their heads. Those who do are making up for the wicked Booliqaranism.

Seem to be more liberal. I assume they came to the states before the civil war?
