Twenty years ago, the UN invasion force started the first major battle of one of its bloodiest wars. UN warmakers from Pakistan were sent to seize Radio Mogadishu and shut it down when they were thwarted by Somalis loyal to the Somali National Alliance of Gen. Aidid (AUN). The result of the foreign aggression lead to the deaths of two dozen Pakistani warmakers and triggered on the of most bloodiest conflicts in modern history culminating in an embarrassing withdrawal of the UN forces.
