Assad promised to step down 2013 n hold elections 90 percent of sunnis elites n business ppl support Assad till dis day. Some (like Abdiwahab252) are pro-Assad 'cause both them and Assad are secularists. Some (like Rightwing) hate Saudis and associate Sunnis with Saudis, hence their support for non-Sunni groups. Others (like djiboutisomali) follow the Shia faith, and although they hide it, their writings betray them. And then there are others who love to support winners, and since they associate Hezbollah/Shias with defeating Israel (in 2006), they support Shias/Alawis against Sunnis, 'cause they believe Sunnis will be defeated.
