Lookout will take a decent chunk of your battery life too, but it's the devil you need. Love their backup option, saved me a few times.

an app that can kill applications you don't want running anymore. there's really no use for it since Android has an excellent built in system and with 4.2 it's just kinda redundant to get one. not to mention, like Anarchist said the battery draining, and potential spyware and adware.
