Reaching out to Our Unpractising Somali Sisters and brothers

Postby Sheikh Mustafa » Sun Jun 09, 2013 6:24 pm

Since I am sheikh Now and Speak english Very Well, I think I have an obligation to go and reach out to our unpractising Somali Sisters and brother's. I can easily notice the unpractising muslim Somali sisters if they do not cover their hair but how can I know whether a somali brother is not practising or not unless they are drunk or selling crack.

So between distributing books that talk about Hijaab and talking to them about Hijaab, which one is more productive?

Distributing books/CDs/CVDs is easier for me because I can just wear my khamiis, Say assalaamu calleykum and ask for permission whether they would mind if I give them a book that talks about Hijaab.

Since you'r a sheikh now you should know males and females aren't supposed to free mix therefore it's not your job to give a female da'wa, there's females for that :comeon:
