Not really. Those militias have embarked on ways to narrow the gap. At one point, they won't be at a disadvantage technologically/militarily. We don't know what they're doing or can do to adapt, and this topic is trying to explore that.

The Ethiopians are always mentioned in Religious scriptures I wonder why that is. I remember reading the hadith below and wondering how drastically different the world would become for an Ethiopian to take over the Ka'ba.

That was the first time this Salat was performed for someone who died in a faraway place. Another theory says one of the early Muslims who emigrated from Arabia to Abyssinia embraced Christianity and his wife left him. Then this king represented the Prophet and paid a lot of gold to her family when the Prophet married her. I dnt know how authentic this is but I heard it through word of mouth.

All you said is true and authentic. I ended up researching Ashama after I met some Ethiopian guy with the same name. He told me the same thing you're saying, so I had to do some research to see if what he was saying was true. Oddly enough, some Ethiopians know about this.

Ethiopia was indeed blessed, thats why the Highlands and Addis Ababa have constant rains and rarely go through drought. This doesn't sanction their political actions though, just the land.
