Egypt vs Ethiopia: Can't wait to see these two go at it.

Postby Theneedforcreed » Fri Jun 14, 2013 6:39 pm

According to http://www.globalfirepower.com/countries-listing.asp Ethiopia is placed at 28th strongest in the world 1 above N Korea and 2nd in Africa trailing none other than Egypt. And Egypt?? is at 14th in the world and numuro uno in Africa. yyyyyyeeeehaaaaa

Military Might: Egypt's is as follows according to http://answersafrica.com/7-african-coun ... ength.html that also listed the 7 African countries with the highest military strength with no surprise there as well as number one and two spots are taken by these two countries.

Egypt: 5000 tanks, 200 helicopters, 863 military air crafts, 28 mine warfare, 84 airports, and a yearly budget $ 4 billion "pumped into defense 365 days a year."

Ethiopia: 300 tanks including recently purchased of 200 tanks from ukraine, 1200 armored vehicles, 147 air crafts, 68 helicopters, and $300 million dollars defense budget " to take care of things every 365 days."

1. Egypt
2. Ethiopia
3. South Africa
4. Nigeria
5. Algeria
6. Kenya
7. Libya (Post Gadafi) Still???

I believe a country MUST develop their military capability as much as possible and the one with weak or informal military force will ALWAYS remain just that. Weak and subjugated specially if you don't have a real strong friend and allay you can lean on on bad times and who watches your back like it's their own business. Somalia MUST need to build up its military might in today's world specially when it doesn't have a real friend in the world at the moment.
