I have seen a few hadiths where some went to the Prophet Mohammed to admit their wrongs and a few even begged for punishment. There was one case where this one man who begged to be stoned got his wish but somehow crawled out of the hole and tried to flee because the stoning hurt him. But he was caught before he tried to flee and put back in the hole for the punishment to be completed

What if someone tried to kill u in the past? Like they gave u a poisonous cake and u took it home ready to eat but missed a step sending the cake all over the ground.
