You were suspicious of them, lets say this person was hired by a family member and you had the influence to get rid of them but not entirely. The person, is someone you don't like on a personal level since they give off bad vibes - would you get them fired?

Work and personal conflicts should never be mixed. It's just unprofessional to fire someone based on your suspicions with no proof. Get a proof of their wrong doings regarding work related issues. Otherwise just let them stay and work but talk to them and express your feelings towards them.
