I am trying to skim this over the qabiil ting walaaloyalo please don't flush the thread down the toilet, thank you
I am genuinely asking, this thread will be the deciding factor whether or not I stop saying qaldaan - I have been stopping myself gariir igu dhici rabo
its not offensive to me at all - qaldaan is the term for s/lander descendants of those in 1960 who were qaldaan enough to make the BIGGEST mistake in the 20th century when somaliland made a union with savagry somalians (not including you b.v.)
You see if someone says Tomandho I have the urge to call them qaldaan because the word is funny and sounds wrong - yacni your af Somaali wa qalad. Sidaas aan uu fahamsanahay. It's a qaldaan thing to say DH - that kind of thing, reer digaag
lol saying qalad itself is khalad, qalad is incorrect, KHALAD is correct , and we say Tomandho because our vocab for that word derived from english, whilst YAANYO used in the south, was of their own vocab.
Qaldaan is not a insult. Waa truth.
It means they want to have their own country, but they name it Somaliland(land of somalis which already exist).
They put shahadah on the flag yet they are the only clan that insult the religion for jeesjees.
They want ictiraaf from UN but kick out UN officials.
They say we have been wronged, but they themselves wrong minorities.
So qaldaan means they make a lot of mistakes.
Waaba iska qaldaamiin.
