sahib..to me most of somali immaams tedn to be extremist in their views..i have been expriencing their views with regard to my schorlaship..the arabs sheikh in my mosques he told islam permits ya to study wherever you want/..as long your pursuing study that help humanity in general..meanwhile the local somali imaam thinks otherwise..he even told me should i accept the schorlaship then i will be comiting blasphemy

somalis worship arabs...that is why.
