Jamaal---Great question bro.

I proudly voted for the 4th option. May Allah (swt) bring about the Khilafah sooner than that!

Aaamiin. Smile

Allah Willing, things will change...for the better....

I'm the most pessimistic person in the world , but i have a great feeling about the situation of the Ummah. It will change for the better real soon. insha'Allah.

Well as long as there are some Arabs still claiming Islam, I don't expect much from the Ummah either. Most muslims need to stop looking up to Arabs as their role models when it comes to diinta.

The day muslims stop looking up to the real muslim Arabs as role role models is the day that Islam is finished...and dont misunderstand me....cos up to this day we praise and brag about what Omar Bin Al Khatab or Ali Ibn abi Dhalib did for muslims and Islam...so dont count Prince Al saud or Hosni Mubarak as the rapresentitive of Arabs or Islam but look at Usma and the Likes sister, and then say something bad if you want to...but plz...dont mention Aidid or A/Laahi Yususf as the role models...we all know what we Somalis(the leaders) could do for Islam.

Anyway Somalia will be the same...I hope not.

Cawar, my comment wasn't left in the context of Somalia but the Islamic Ummah in general..Yes we all know how islamic the Somali leaders (warlords) are...

Anyway I'm not sure if I'm clear on your last comment "dont count Prince Al saud or Hosni Mubarak as the rapresentitive of Arabs or Islam but look at Usma..." as in Usama bin Ladan?

Demure....How abt the comment you made on the Arabs in general...thats was not appropriate was it????

Anyhow, UBL is not my Idol, and I absolutely dont support his methods, but he is a stand up guy...wont you say that?

As for our beloved Warlords.....may God and the rest of the civilized world help us, before we actually turrn into real Animals(I think we already did anyways).

very interesting replies, most of them pessimistic. I sometimes wonder what will be of my beloved cauntry. things are not going well, for example we have:

1,the deforestation problem,
2,nuclear waste dumping that will have serious consequence on our unspoiled land
3, social decay at many levels which will get worse the longer this conflict goes on for, these include, education, religion, law and order.
4, devastated infarastructure
5, increasingly westerised diaspora groups.

these and many more issue are increasingly challenging the existance of our nation as a viable and governable society. the princible cause of these problems is lack of government.
