Scandinavians are fasting for 21 hours. I wouldn't be able to go to taraaweeh if I was fasting in those conditions. No way. I give it up to whoever does though.

^ I think in those places Muslims break their fast w/ a neighbouring country. There's no way one can fast for 20/21hrs for 29 or 30 days.

It's tough but it has to be done.

Luckily I took 20 day holiday from from, I don't know how I would cope otherwise, especially since its hot and suhur is only 3 hours after taraawix.

19hrs, but, I am never a big eater in the first place so I think that is why I am able to handle ramadaan better then most people can.

Lol many are complaining I finish a 19 hour fast with 5 dates and a glaas or two of water and the same for suhr, there is a greater sacrifices behind it, and once you realise the need to pleasure Allah by giving up lawful things, you will then wish you were even more hungry.

how do you all get sleep? :dead:

Taraweh ends at like 11:30 PM if you pray all 20.

Fajr is 4:20 AM

Plenty of time for a nap before Suhoor

We are fasting 21 hours here. Before Ramadan started everyone was terrified and loads of people traveled to spend Ramadan somewhere else. I usually spend Ramadan in Middle-East or Africa and wanted to travel this year too, but I couldn't. Alxamdulillaah I got to take my summer holiday so I won't be working but get to chill at home. This means that always if I get sleepy or hungry I just take a few hours nap. Ramadan so far has been very easy and everybody else are also saying that it's much easier than expected.

We pray taraawiix one hour after afuur and it takes 45 minutes. After that there's still more than one hour to eat suxuur. For me it's easy because mosque is close to my home.

Lillaahiya, imams of my city came together and said that it's not allowed to fast using other countries time because sun still sets and rises normally and there's enough time. Only if someone really can't fast and gets some medical problems that person has an excuse and he/she can just make up those days by fasting them later.
