^ I think in those places Muslims break their fast w/ a neighbouring country. There's no way one can fast for 20/21hrs for 29 or 30 days.

Jaidi: Where are you?
Zambia right now. Maghrib is at 5:50 pm :blessed:

I've skipped out on Ramadan in Canada for the last 3 years so I can't relate to any of this :MJ:

If your thirsty, just put icy cold water in your mouth like you would with Listerine and then spit it out. Just don't swallow. Its how I get through my day

Yalaxow needs to stop wailing, the prophet used to go 3 days with no food entering his mouth, the saalixuun sometimes would not eat for 20 days and your complaining about 22 hours lol.

I fast 18 hours, I walk to Masjid to pray Taraweeh, I stay up and read Quran then eat and pray fajr, then go to sleep for about 4-5 hours, it is not a big deal, I am enjoying it, what I can't stand is dumarka igu waashay, numbar cusub waa inaa yeesha.

Lillaahiya, imams of my city came together and said that it's not allowed to fast using other countries time because sun still sets and rises normally and there's enough time. Only if someone really can't fast and gets some medical problems that person has an excuse and he/she can just make up those days by fasting them later.

I think it's like 16 hours here in Atlanta. Maghrib is at 8:50 and Fajr is at 5:15, Taraweeh usually ends at around 11:30. No complaints, alxamdulilah.
