is cumar al faaruuq same as Cumar bin al khataab?? how Cumar bin al alabdiziz who was part of Umayyad dynasty can be related Omar bin khataab??.

I Know uthmaan bin cafaan was Umayyad(clan) but was Omar bin khataab also umayyad ??

Cumar Al-Faaruuq and Cumar Bin Al-Khattaab are the same person. Al-Faaruuq was a name given to him by Rasuulki SAW.

Basically.
Al-Faaruuq (May ALlah be pleased with him) had a son called Caasim. So that Son Caasim married a woman who was righteous. And they had a daughter. And that daughter married Abdal Aziz. And they had Cumar Bin Abdal Aziz.

his father was umayyah. so he took the qabiil from his father. just like somalis.
