I wouldn't say this is the hardest part, more so a personal realization of how much I use profanity words in my everyday life, this ramadan has shed some light on the severity of how much I restrained myself from profanity. Ramadan is very much therapeutic, only wish it lasted for two months rather than just one.

I downloaded a whole collection of great books including Imam Maliks Muttawwa all for free at scribd.com, including Imam Shafi's diwan, the entire sahih bukhari, and the Shaam'ial timirdhi, you can do the same and just read on your phone, great habit for ramadan, do you want the links?
Sxb there is a manhaj that should be followed when it comes to gaining knowledge. I dont mean manhaj as in petty diversionary arguements we see but an ordered method in the literal sense. Place emphasis on memorising the qur'an, study tafseer if possible with a teacher, at the same time enrol onto an arabic course to gain the key of knowledge and maybe riyaadul saalixiin wherever a local sheikh is reading it. Laakin saxiix bukhaari madaxa lala galaayo iyo muwadda' ibn maalik walaalow meel cidla ha is dhigin..

Lack of sleep is the hardest part. I sleep two hours before suhur and two&half hours after suhur.

InSomalia, I agree with you sis. Dealing with people who frustrate you and provoke you has to be the hardest thing in ramadan for me. You try to avoid such situations yet some people will go to the extent of really annoying you. I get headache from such things wallahi as I can't even react back or vent at them you know. :x
