Nah aint like that. The original school was co-found by Jonathan Starr and Dr. Ahmed Hussein Essa (Sa'ad Muse fella). He is also the owner of Waaheen media.

Anyways after he had a fault out with Silanyo because he didn't get ministerial post, he took his anger and frustrations on Jonathan and he later tried to influence his cousin Zamzam (so called tribal education minister) to close down the school. She made up all BS stories to try and use the law against Jonathan and the school.

When that failed, Ahmed decided to create his splinter cell and hijack the name without going through the proper legal work....so he decided to call his school Abaarso College or something and Jonathan decided to distinguish himself from angry Ahmed and rename the school Abaarso Tech University...originally it was just Abaarso Tech or something.

Jonathan is now slow and thriving while Ahmed and Zamzam are still busy looking for new ingredients to help them cook up a new storm. They were angry because Jonathan was taking students from all over Somalia. Ahmed wanted just few Sacad Muse kids.

Jonathan was almost going to relocate it in the South. It would have been another lose like that University the British gave to Uganda...because the Isaaq tribal elders were geeljireeyaal.
