There is no such thing as unlimited data

Postby AbdiJohnson » Tue Jul 23, 2013 2:14 am

My cellular provider today decided to throttle my mobile internet in the middle of me rewatching Breaking Bad. I am rewatching it to remind myself of every little detail since those animals like to torture us fans by releasing new seasons so late. Anyways they slow down my internet. 30 mins later I decide to call Tech and tell them my internet is so damn slow. In her thick overseas Indian accent from a call center in what I suspect was Delhi, she says "Of coarse, you have used 18 GB in just 2 weeks". I tried to tell her that my plan includes unlimited but she said there is a fair usage policy of 5GB and if you go over, they slow you down. Then she tells me that I have went over every month for the past two years but I told her but I wasn't slowed down then. She responds and says "And you have the shame to call us when we let it slide for 2 years?"

These corporations lie in their advertising. Yes its unlimited but what good is it when they slow it down? They broke their promise. I will be terminating my relationship with these liars.

Lesson: Don't let any corporation bully you. Don't let them stomp on you
