Dhussa By the way you talk you really dont sound like a woman. Are you sure you are a man?
Say Yes i'm a muslim(why would you ask me that question).
I believe women can also depend of themselves without waiting for the guy to come around with the money. But money isnt what really matter to much women.

if you're a radical feminist, why do you wear a hijab? why are you thinking about marriage? You do know what being a radical feminist entails right?

Some quotes from famous radical feminists on the issue of marriage..
-------------
Sheila Cronin, the leader of the feminist organization NOW, said:
Since marriage constitutes slavery for women, it is clear that the women's movement must concentrate on attacking this institution. Freedom for women cannot be won without the abolition of marriage.
Andrea Dworkin, author of Pornography: Men possessing Women, claimed that marriage was nothing more than a refined form of rape:
Marriage as an institution developed from rape as a practice. Rape, originally defined as abduction, became marriage by capture. Marriage meant the taking was to extend in time, to be not only use of but possession of, or ownership.
--------------
Do you still consider yourself a radical feminist?

You can be feminist without dropping your hijab!
Not all feminist are lesbian now.
Well I'm a feminist who acknowledges my feminity. I know darn well that in average cases I am not as strong as the average man. On average cases I'm more sensitive than the average man. On average cases I have an emotional sense of protection, while the average man probably views protection physically.
Say I acknowledge that indeed women and men are different. We are different physically and mentally. It doesn't mean that one is inferior than the other.
On the other hand I think there are many feminist who are in denial about thier feminity (at least that's how I view it).
But I think all of us are at least fighting for rights that protect us too. Other than that, I don't know.

Sister this makes you a cultural feminist, not a radical one. Cultural feminists think that society needs to embrace the qualities that are traditionally seen as "feminine"(ie.compassion). I agree that men and women are DIFFERENT but EQUAL and that is in line with both cultural feminist views and Islamic views. Radical feminism is as crazy as the Nazi and the KKK, men are not evil...hope you understand.

Don't change teh subject. You're initial post that I replied to gave the impression that YOU (not every women) use men's achievements as yard stick to measure your relative success. I only said why don't you, as a woman, aim higher. Higher then men. Do you see men saying 'why don't we do better then women?'. No.
Do you understand me now?

Here is a simple answer without going into details.
I think it is right to say that being a muslim/muslimah has a lot to do with gender equality....
