Since you are a Muslim now (Alhamdulilah), you will be treated as a fifth column and GCHQ will be keeping tabs on you. In short, you are really not British any more mate. Welcome to the other side, I suppose.

I actually have security clearance and work as an engineer on aircraft. If they are keeping tabs on me they aren't making any trouble for me. I'm sure given the latest revelations in the media, they are keeping tabs on everyone. I am not plotting any terrorism or illegal activities so I really don't mind if they do keep an eye on me. My facebook page is a peaceful protest site. It only advocates protests and petitions and spreading awareness etc.
I still consider myself British and Muslim. Just like you consider yourself Somali and Muslim

How has the Muslim/Somali community treated you so far?

Very mixed. Some wonderful things and some not so wonderful things. I have been Muslim for 5 years so that's a very deep question and I couldn't do it justice without a very long response TBH as a lot happened in 5 years

Well mate. Since it's half past 2 in the morning and both of us seem like NEETS, I insist you share this story.
