My understanding Ali Dheere is going to be leader of Alshabaab soon..... That means


All the prisoners will be released..
A new Shura will be created soon...

are you kidding me, the guy who wants to kill all his friends and top officials of the group.
Aweys run away because he wanted to kill him. also Roboow run away to Baido from him. also he wanted to kill the Syrian America dude.
he doesn't want any talks with the government or anyone else, to him Somali civilians and non-muslims are alike when attacking.

At first their policy was until foriegn troops leave we aren't gonna negotiated, if foriegn troop leave, we can negotiate with our Somali brothers and sis.
After last Ethiopian troops left and Abdullahi Yusuf resign, they continued their war against Somalis and starting taking over cities again, until Amissom come back.

So any group that claims they fight for Islam, but refuse all kinds of negotiate, are out for mayhem. the Prophet's never refused any negotiate or peace deal unless the Kuffars break the peace deal.

Taliban aren't negotiating; why should al-Shabaab negotiate? Taliban are projected to take power at some point in the near future.
