I know what you mean. Laakin ninyahow that is western thinking and more narrow-minded than you think. Kinda reminds me of the BBC3 show "Sun, sex and suspicious parents." Most of us (youth) interpret "irresponsible living" as drugs, sex and money. I fail to see what good that brings. Maybe travelling on a roadtrip to different countries and backpacking with friends would be nice. Anything else is detrimental. If you were a parent would you be happy for your son to go through this stage of life and risk losing his livelihood/dignity/deen? Sxb one night in the sack with a xalaal woman is 100X better than everything a youthful cavalier can have in his life.

This topic just reminded me. My parents 25th anniversary is tomorrow. 8/8/88. My dad was 25 turning 26. Mom was 22 turning 23.

I ain't getting married anytime soon. I need to travel and live before being saddled with all that responsibility or not get married at all.
