Well it's August. Of course it's going to be expensive.

Anyways, try US Airways. Columbus to Charlotte, Charlotte to London return ticket is $1100.

You can't take a ferry from France to London.. Unless you take a ferry to the UK *Dover perhaps* and then a train to London.. But it's expensive and time consuming..
Why don't you take the eurostar from Paris to London.. Its pretty cheap *when booked in advance* and only takes a little over two hours.. :|

Do it the exciting way. Take a ship to France and then hide in a lorry before you come to Dover.

Priceline is a joke. There are no savings. The way they mislead people is amazing. I only used it for hotels though. They let you bid really low (say $40 a night for a 4 star hotel) and you think you are given the deal since they take you to the payment page and once you put in your credit card information and press enter, they tell you "sorry, that bid is too low". You will end up bidding as high as $80 and realize what is the point of this website? This could have been done on Expedia in 5 minutes.
