Starbucks

Postby hydrogen » Mon Aug 12, 2013 11:15 pm

Starbucks coffee farmers would need to work for 3 days before they could afford to buy a cup of their own coffee.
It wouldn't take me more than 20 minutes and I wouldn't even be the one fetching it. Sad.

I don't know how anyone considers going to Starbucks, especially for regular coffee. It's expensive and tastes like crap. McDonald's has better tasting coffee and it's like a dollar something for a large.

I just like the Vanilla frappacino, I've never had Starbucks coffee. Fraps are ice milkshakes, amazing. They make me contemplate how much I care about the Israel-Palestine conflicts :blessed:

It's the image. You can get cappuccinos and other fancy drinks for much less from other places and tastes much better. I salute Starbucks for their flawless marketing. People spend 25% of their income on Starbucks.

Starbucks doesn't even offer free refills.

Do you at least get free soft drink refills? It's the standard in all fast food chains

Nope, no place I've been to had a refill. I think that's an alien concept here to most people. If you want another go and buy it

Fast food chains offer free refills of soft drinks, but coffee? Never seen any.

As for Starbucks, I wouldn't dare go again since the day I tried their latte and it tasted like crap. My home made latte was much better.

McDonald's has free coffee refills. I've done it a few times. I didn't think so at first until I kept seeing old people keep going back to the counter to refill without exchanging money.

I use to be a Starbucks lover. But, Second Cup (in Canada) is much better imo. Same taste but half the price. #winwin
