Ive had many fights laakin the funniest one was when I was 10 I think. Basically in school at breaktime I wandered into the a class full of 10yrs old. These kids all knew me because I had quite a reputation coming up. The strongest kid in that class told me to leave the class or otherwise. So I said no. It was on, kid charged at me rugby tackling me to the ground. Tried my best to wiggle out of it but he wasn't having it. Wallahi till now I don't how but I kicked him in face somehow. I dint kick him with the side of my foot laakin it was the bottom of my foot that I hit him with. He flew off me backwardscrying and then a painter who was painting a wall grabbed me and told me off. I left that fight feeling like champ. No teachers ever found out. Guess what I seen the next day. Wallahi there was my footprint on his face.

Another funny one was me and my freinds was walking through the hood one night. Bang these boys all hooded up came towards us. We're like 4 and these guys were round 8 or maybe 10. So they started pick on the big one pushing and showing him and then the others started pushing and tapping our pockets. Somehow me and my boys got separated. I managed to run through a small gap because the guy that was supposed to jack me was looking at what was going on behind him. I then ran up this little staircase and guess what I seen hahah. One of my boys tried jumping over a gate and instead of landing on his feet he landed on his back. I ran away looking back and laughing like a hyena wallahi. Anyways none of us got jacked. We all meet up sometime later laughing and talking about how close we came to a beatdown and jacking. Miss them days. Young and carefree, Tracksuit bottoms, nike TN shoes with a black or blue nike jumper. Used to link up with the boys. Chip in for a deck of BNHSilver. Finished a whole deck between 2 or 3 boys. then argue and fight other last one haha. Now its all shirts and chinoos, uni clean money.

lets say like the last 10 years I got into 7 fights , the last one being on the First day of this Ramadan . its not worth it .

My finishing move was a kick to the nuts. There would be a few minutes of fighting but when my opponent got tired, I would hit him in his family jewels to finish him off.

No one wanted to fight me after they have realized my technique was not a one time thing but rather a signature move.

I was never a trouble maker nor the one that goes around to start things but I had fair share of physical fights with many different groups; Somalis, Oromo, Amhara, Islanders, Asians, Turks...etc.

The funniest one was when I was about six, I went to the deep Hawd with my ayeeyo. The geeljires knew I was not a true Geeljire so they always challenged me "caar kan ka bood badow yahow"..."Sabaxaada ma taqana duuflow yahow"...and so on. They were tormenting me so when one day I said enough abahin cuune. I got into a deep fight with their most respected geeljire (the commander and chief)...eventually I kicked his azz and he ran to his hooyo, then I got my abti who was a year older than I was and my hooyo hated me hanging with him because we were trouble. Anyways when we chased them, they left their animals to us so we got all their goats and sheep and we chopped their legs with an axe wallahi...we chopped about 10 animals and the family came down man big fight biggggg big fight....and our families had to repay them.

I was then sent on mustaafiiris (exiled) to Jijiga before being sent back to Diredawa. My sisters tease me to this day about that "Ma xasuusata beriga adhiga cagaha ka jarteen" I am like

I got into many many fights man in Diredawa you have to fight to survive. Qar Oromo iyo Isse ah oo dibjir ah aya jidkaga iskaga ka sugaya..."warya give me lacag" and they just slap you...then there are the Habeshi church goers who go in groups led by a captain...we always fought with them.

Last time I fought was in elementary school. My strength stopped being superior when everyone hit puberty so my glory days were over. The last one was a master brawl between the boys and the girls and this was when people were starting go through puberty, so my former position as the fastest and strongest had changed and I had lost the youthful energy I once had when it came to fights. It came down to me and this one xasid I grew up with who starts beef with just about everyone. I was already tired because I had already fought a series of boys before him, so I knew I wouldn't last long. Fortunately for me, the teacher supervising the field that day was the male French teacher. He hated some of those boys - especially the one I fought - and seemed to like me as I was a good student and seemingly well-behaved, so I used my tears. He immediately rushed over, yelled at that boy, and put him into detention. Obviously I took the easy way out but I still won in my eyes.
