The sheikh says that there are elements in somalia that are been used by outside forces in order to push people away from the deen. Talking about Al-shabab.
he also said that Somalis love Islam and that's why al-shabaab are giving us a bad name.

I respect him, he thinks outside the box. There a few theories of his which I disagree with though. I do like reading/hearing his thoughts about currency/economic issues.

Well then you my friend must be very ignorant to think Sheikh Imran Hosein is merely a trend in similutde to Obama. There is nothing 'trendy' about the sheikh, He endorses the truth from the Book, and has taken up the burden of trying to interpret verses and hadiths to try and see if it corrospends to our day and age. Don't mistake me for a 'blind' follower, I've come across the Sheikh in 2010 but dismissed his views as ridiculous but after watching several lectures on his view on the world economy, democracy, dajjal and his system, I pray that Allah blesses him because if Allah hadn't willed for me to listen to the Sheikh, then I would be a heedless man amongst the heedless people in the heedless world today.
