It is not a pretense of what you are not in this case, but the question of "should you avoid the person you love" till you feel better? If you don't want to dampen their spirit. In other words, should you be perfectionist and play only when everything is good, or it doesn't matter how someone feels any given time and they should be around the person they love and care about.
