Please make a du'a for my application to be accepted I really want to win this position in the harlesden mosque,they said the best reciter will lead salatul- isha and maghrib in the weekend.

I had to go in a hall there were other young brothers my age, and there was 3 sheikhs, one sheikh was with me inside the box and the other 2 were outside listening, he stopped me half way through my recitation because he was crying when he heard the ayah ""Indeed, the death from which you flee - indeed, it will meet you.", after he stopped crying he let me continue.

Please mention this in your du'as folks, I really want this I feel like it will make me stronger, leading muslims in salah

Bro I swear to Allah, phone up Sheikh Babikir Ahmad they all witnessed it last thursday. I was pracitcing sheikh abdul basit's mujawwadi recitations since last year it's the only recitations i listen to, why would I lie sxb?

if you listen closely my voice is slightly higher than abdul basit (AUN), but i tried my best to imitate it in everyway, on my 15th birthday my abti gave me a cd of 114 mujawad recordings of cabdul basit, i listen to it almost everyday lol.

he moves around but he usually gives seminar khutbas on saturday, I attend most of them at the evening, you can catch his podcasts at itunes for free

he says he wants to take me to omdurman and make me a reciter at a masjid
