Jazeera Estate possibility

Postby GeoSeven » Wed Sep 04, 2013 12:19 pm

The proposed Jazeera Estate development project might resemble the Haramous City Project in Djibouti.

Once it's completed,I envision Jazeera Estate would look like the above product, not necessarily the same thing, but a bit similar...possibly better.

I don't think those colors will be used on the actual infrastructures.

I`m against these type of developments.
The locals cannot afford them.

Whats needed is cheap affordable mass produced housing.
The Govt should prioritise the creation of a cement and steel works.

Unfortunately Hassan Sheikh will only work in the interests of his Hagite financiers.

You could say employment comes before cheap and affordable housing and construction creates employment. Anyways, the Estate is intended to attract investors and returning diaspora. You could say their investments will create jobs. Anyways, the country has to be stablised as a whole and the government needs a proper national revenue basis before mass production of anything or housing can be provided. It's Somalia man, not Switzerland lol.....eerr......Hassan Sheekh/Hagite

I ended my comment with Hassan Sheekh and Hag so it makes more sense to you....I know you like that shit. It's ok, no need to thank me, I know I made you day

Looks ugly, and there is no need for those kind of properties. Why are they importing the western style housing to Somalia??

If anyone wanted this, they would go to Kuwait/Qatar which is a whole lot safer.

Personally, I would never live in any of these "gated estates". The crib at Buulo Xuubeey calls 8-)

But people like this stuff, it's gonna sell.

Well, I suppose that since it's gated, it's going to be more secure in terms of security so that idea might really appeal.

Geo

The problem is you and your ilk can`t see beyond the begging bowl.
You have no vision other than mimicking what you see in the west.
This monkey see...monkey do attitude will get you nowhere.

Somalia was built up in under 15 years....from nothing.
The difference is we had visionary leaders....today we have Hagites. :D :som:

I have met an engineer guy who disigned a lot of somali infrastructures ( some of them was posted in this site) and I asked him about this project(he goes there and other regions also meets tarsan) and he talked about the impossibility of this project and that it also lacks a lot facilities...he gave an example madinat rihab in misra al jadida/new cairo wich has a lot of schools and universities(4 westren universites are based in there icluding al jamica al amerikiya) restaurents, markets, shoping centers...according to his info, al jazira real states project lacks all these facilities mostly the schools and its located in a complete isolation and away from the town!

Have a look at madinat al rihab wich has 200,000 populations!

Read in english for more info but the arabic comments on its macaalim so you can tell what are they...
