Putin :wow:

Syria has become a battleground for the US. Syria is going to be "disarmed" but that only means that the US will not directly attack them. What I'm guessing is that there will be massive military aid against Assad . this conflict is nowhere near done.

When this last credible threat against Israel is detoothed (Syria's huge chemical weapon stockpile), the Pentagon can do toasts all around for a job well done. Let the barbaric Al-Qaeda types worry about the finer distinctions of aqeedah to kill each other for the next few decades.

I think Obama wants assad to give up and abandon his chemical weapon so that he doesn't retaliated with it when they attack him, this is exactly what bush did to Gaddafi back in 2003 when he forced him to destroy his chemical weapon and as we all know gaddafi was easily removed, because he didn't have anything to fight back assad should be removed, tried and eventually executed. giving up chemical weapon is just not enough nor will not stop him killing innocent people. as he has been killing them for the last two year without chemical weapon.

Gadaffi lost due to a combination of airstrikes and his own paranoia. He striped the libyan army down until it became nothing more than a militia.

Gaddafi also backed away from going after developing nuclear power.

He also killed morale long ago and made sure to instil no power in any of the ranks. Libya lost a war to Chadian tribesmen in Toyota pickups in the 80's.
