Try doing a professional Master’s degree online, mind you from a reputable university known for tech and innovation. Should have just chosen a thesis option, but I didn't want to pay for living expenses and uproot myself to no-man’s land. The former is more economical and you avoid the anxiety of a firing squad (thesis defence committee). Thing that sucks is being a teaching assistant online =S. The atmosphere is lonely given the lack of face-time with peers and professors, if you know anyone taking the course try to link up with them (1) to commiserate in your suffering and (2) to provide emotional support. If not drive your family crazy with your hysterical outbursts. Procrastination is a malaise that afflicts us all both online and offline, but it seems easier to waste time online. However, given that deadlines are fixed and penalties for late assignments/evaluations are stiff that is enough motivation to get you moving. These courses are normally short in duration (four months), so it should pass by quickly. Work systematically and incrementally to avoid procrastination, and don't sacrifice your sleep and sanity by working last minute. It’s rudimentary Armaan.
