Wealth disparity, could be a reason for intellectual inequality. 1.5 million people serve in the US army, on average they are significantly more stupid than other military personnel from developed nations.

What good is smartness when your average citizen cant afford a steady meal per day? The average person from developing nation cannot afford to have three meals a day. I rather have a stupid citizen than a smart citizens who is useless. At least, the stupid citizens knows how to survives in the streets with no brains, while the smart Africans or 'developing nations' starve in the streets with their big brains.
