Yeah but english is the easiest subject imo, why saudi arabia? UAE is 10x better than that shithole.

$40-65,000 a year, benefits, car, no tax, :lawd:
English is not easy, especially at degree level, you may not be as mentally invested as you hope with the constant reading and analysing etc do something that has a long term benefit like IT maybe or a science

Studying english is something I enjoy, it all depends on personal prefereance and for me it is easy, has been the easiest subject to study all my life, through KS1,KS2,KS3, and gcse. For others maths might be the easiest, everything depends on what defines as easy to one in terms of educational subjects.

Whether you choose Toronto or the UK, ensure you are studying what you would love to do. It isn't always what you're good at it mind you, though that is a contributing factor. You might enjoy English, but do you have a love of teaching? Do you have the patience for it? Would you deem it an exciting career that nurtures your aptitudes? Do your homework kid, it will save you a lot of headache.

Zubeir, I only ask because I've noticed anytime you mention your future plans you always focus on the incentives such as the accommodation and a higher tax free salary, which begets the question whether that is your only motivation. I've seldom read anywhere where you have stated "I have a passion for English and teaching others." If that is the case though, best wishes with your future endeavours.

war ninkan eega, uu isku ciyaaraya.

Sxb, study in London - that way your degree will be universally recognized, doubly so if you go to a good established university.

Why would you put yourself in a situation of having only a middle-eastern bachelors to teach English, then only finding out the hard way it was all a waste of time. 1) the degree is worth salt outside the Arab world. 2) They prefer to hire some foreigner with a lighter complexion?

Stop messing about. Study in London - go back to Somalia and contribute. You'll get paid just as well over there believe it or not.

I'm applying for either UoT or York, finna do my bachelor's there, then find a career enchallah.

so have any of you went to uni outside of your country? And what was the application process like?
NZ for a bit, came back after realizing their racist as shidh. But the women there :whew: Overall good experience. Wouldn't mind going back there for my masters. Toronto you say, you're in for a good time, however I would advise you don't lose focus of your priority but I'm sure you'll stay on top of shidh.
