Where to stay in Somaliland-Somalia-Djibouti

Postby faysal84 » Tue Dec 24, 2013 4:36 pm

Sallam Alaikum guys/ladies,

There is a really interesting article on where to stay if you plan on going to Somaliland, Somalia and Djibouti for the holidays and vacations.

www.somestate.com/blog

it discusses all the issues you could have in terms of the options you have in accomodation, from staying with family, renting a hotel/house and buying a home (for balling brothers and sisters). Check it out and don't forget to like our facebook page.

www.somestate.com

Enjoy

Burco is a nice a place. I prefer hargeisa to be honest. bigger and has a lot more to do, and more universities etc. It is the capital after all.

I suggest you concentrate on Mogadishu. There will be lots of opportunities there seeing that it is the capital not Hargeisa.

lol.

personally, i would like all of somalia to join, and then join with the muslim part of ethiopia, and kenya, and continue in every direction until all the muslim lands are one. thats my wish.

but as things stand at the moment, the somali regions are 3 to 5 regions, each one having its own capital. beyond that it becomes politics.

thats just me thinking out loud.

Suit yourself. But it's all best to be politically correct in business. A foreigner or a Somali diaspora might not be aware of these different Somali regions.

East Africa:
Somalia- Mogadishu, Kismaayo, Hargeysa, Laasanood etc

Djibouti- Arta, Djibouti etc

Kenya- North Front District; Garissa, Mandera, Wajir

Ethiopia- Somali Galbeed; Jigjiga, Qabri Dahar, Wardheer etc

Then below these countries you can name the Somali towns. Just giving you a few tip in order to bring professionalism to your business venue. I wish you all the best. And I sure will visit your website and business.
