What makes you say that?As for Satan (Shaytân in Arabic), he is Iblîs, the singular being who was created directly from fire,
“And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.”
Is there a difference between the Jinn being created from smokeless fire and Iblis? They bowed down except Iblis. He was one of the Jinns
In the biological sense? Will ye then take him and his progeny as protectors

HyperAs for Satan (Shaytân in Arabic), he is Iblîs, the singular being who was created directly from fire,I think all jinn were created from smokeless fire including iblis so that site might of been a bit wrong while the angels were from light correct me if i'm wrong peepzWhat makes you say that?

So if you are sitting in a room with 3 other people that means there's at least 6 of you?Qareen
The Jinn which accompanies every Human from the mother’s womb till his/her death, is called a Qareen.
Including yourself and your jinn it would mean there are 8 but every person also have two angels so in reality there would be 16 of youZubeir that is really interesting

Technically your soul and physical self are different entities, therefore there would be 32 of you right?Including yourself and your jinn it would mean there are 8 but every person also have two angels so in reality there would be 16 of youZubeir that is really interesting

I would not normally respond to this type of thread as Islam and Christianity take very different directions on this subject. This is strictly as a favor for Jasmine6, and it does not apply to more nominally Christian groups:

Many Christian denominations do not consider Mormons to be Christian. This is because Mormons believe each and every human has both a literal Father and a Mother in Heaven, who have given birth to the "soul" portion of themselves. The personal name of the God of this world is "Elohim", which literally means "The Gods". Other worlds have other Gods, each of whom (male and female) is the literal parent of the human inhabitants of their worlds. Jesus and Lucifer were brothers. The difference between them was free will, with Jesus pro and Lucifer con. Their battle is for control of the souls of Man.
Mormons consider Jesus to be the Son of God, in the same sense that we are all Sons of God, created in His image. Jesus was just the first. He is no more a god than any of us. Our goal as humans is to become the Gods of our own worlds.
The core Mormon belief is "As Man is, God once was, and as God is, Man may yet become."
Mormons believe angels are men who have not yet received a human body, or who have ascended to Heaven and not yet been resurrected. Many believe Jesus is the Archangel Michael, which means literally "He who is like God".
Jinn have no part in Mormon theology. I am aware of the concept, but it seems strange. The story of Aladdin and the magic lamp reads like fantasy to me.

jin,What is the difference between Jinn and Sheytan?
When people say "Sheytan and his children" do they mean that he literally had children and continues to have more or do they mean his followers?
Where was Sheytan based before Adam was created? (Christians believe he was an Angel in Heaven)
