We need affirmative action for Somalians in Hollywood. The majerteen seem to dominating the acting roles. Directors should be advocates for equality and justice for all Somali clans.

In fact I think more movies should be made about the chaos ensuing post-government Somalia, there's certainly plenty of fodder.

Imagine a whole series featuring warlords battling it out in the south over banana exports, the Balanbaalis tragedy, a cinematic masterpiece capturing the buildup to the final moments of the Siyaad regime. It would at the very least be an engaging record for future Somali generations to understand how Somalia got screwed up and what happened, an alternative to the stories recounted to them from the lens of their parents' qabiil.

Somalia, the waiting future goldmine for the enterprising filmmaker.
