You shouldn't go cuz its very dangerous. A relative of mine was in xamar once. He was gonna go somewhere, but the guy who was gonna pick him up was late. It turned out the place he was gonna go was bombed by al shabab. If he wasn't late, he would have been injured badly or died.

Its dangerous.

the most important thing you can take is swimming goggles, the sea water is extremely salty and will burn your eyes and throat

People will leach off you without you even realising and they will most likely be extended family members, I had someone leach off me for quite a while buying them khad almost every day but luckily half way through my holiday I bumped into some of my old friends from the uk and things went splendid thereon, it's important to notice what's making you unhappy from the start
